Heather Kennedy-Montplaisir, wife, sister, daughter, friend, colleague, neighbour, was initially diagnosed with Multiple Myeloma in Fall 2021, and later diagnosed with a rare and aggressive cancer, Plasma Cell Leukemia, in November 2023. Cancer was never a battle Heather wanted to fight, but she was determined to try every option, pursue every available treatment, and to live the best life for as long as possible, all while maintaining hope for the future.
Heather was a beacon of hope for others, an inspiration to many, and a strength to everyone who knew her. Cancer may have cut her time on earth short, but it didn't take her love of life, her joy, her sense of adventure, or her passion from her. We walk in her memory to share her powerful messages with the world to inspire people to live their best lives, do what they can with what they have, don't put off to tomorrow what can be done today, and to love those around them.
By making a donation to our team, you are supporting the pursuit of curing and preventing the disease, accelerating access to the best care, while empowering and improving the lives of all Canadians affected by myeloma.
Please make a donation today and be sure to visit the Messages #FromHeather site to learn more about what we have planned at www.MessagesFromHeather.ca
