Can I bring my pet?
Yes, furry family members are always welcome! However, all animals must be leashed and remain outdoors for the duration of the event.
Can I run the 5km instead of walk?
Of course! Whether you’re walking, running or rolling, we’ll be there every step of the way!
What happens if it rains?
The show must go on! Be sure to pack your umbrellas and rain gear, the March will go on rain or shine. Check with your local coordinator, many Marches have indoor venues for registration or outdoor shelters from the elements.
What if I can’t walk the whole 5km?
Whether you walk the whole 5km or you’re a sideline cheerleader, your participation in the event is what counts.
Is there a minimum donation to participate in the Multiple Myeloma March?
There is no minimum or maximum donation to take part in the event, however, all donations above $20 are eligible for a full tax receipt.
Do you accept donations the day of the March?
Yes, volunteers will be available onsite the day of the event to accept all donations. Any donation above $20 is eligible for a full tax receipt.
Can we mail-in offline donations?
Absolutely, in fact, the sooner you mail in your donations with the Offline donation form the sooner your fundraising thermometre will rise on your webpage. Please note that online donations made to your team are instantaneous and you will be notified by email once a donation has been made.
Do I need to register online before the event?
As much as possible, we prefer you register prior to the event in order to gauge turnout for the event for organizational purposes. Registration is free and takes just a few minutes to set up.
