In the spring of 2014, while undergoing therapy for a suspected shoulder injury, I was diagnosed with multiple myeloma. Following a broken collarbone that resulted from a myeloma lesion, surgery to remove a large bone lesion on my lower back, three months of chemothearpy and a successful autologous stem cell transplant, with the tremendous support of family and friends I am now feeling terrific. In an effort to give back, once again I’m raising money in support of Myeloma Canada by participating in the Multiple Myeloma March in Winnipeg.
On Sunday, September 16, 2018 I will be participating in the the Multiple Myeloma March, which is the only annual large-scale fundraiser that exclusively supports the Canadian Myeloma community. By making a donation to me, you are helping to fund clinical research and to support advocacy for accelerated access to game-changing therapies for Canadian myeloma patients.
Please considering make a donation today and help me to reach my fundraising goal!
