In the spring of 2021, my brother Denis, 67 years old, was diagnosed with multiple myeloma. He has 2 years left to live. It is with strength, courage and valour that he went through so many difficult trials, without getting discouraged, without complaining, with this 'Joy of Living' which characterized him throughout his Life.

I would like the funds raised during this journey to be used by individuals with the disease and their loved ones to be supported by Myelome Canada. Similarly, that they can benefit from a return of expenses related to the necessary and proposed treatments.

More than 3000 klm from Quebec to Halifax, round-trip on the small secondary roads, in the heels and on the saddle! If I choose the electric bike, it’s because my knees are struggling with arthritis and at 70 years old, I will surely appreciate this little « boost"!

A big THANK YOU to Patrick-Henri Mercier and Stéphane for their enthusiasm in getting me an electric bike from their shop: The CLINICK of VÉLO BIKE RIDE on the Boul. Ste-Anne in Chateau Richer. It was Patrick who lit the spark plug during my initial project (Vancouver-Quebec).

THANK YOU also to Mr. Alain Desmeules from E-WOOL, St-Laurent Blvd. They make the best heated jackets, gloves and other products for people like me who are cold. I’m sure the vest will keep me warm in the cool evenings of NB and N.S. as well as for my return to Quebec in September.
