In 2007 our lives' took an unexpected and devastating turn. Hans was diagnosed with Multiple Myeloma.
This past winter, treatment for Hans was no longer working and needed to be stopped. A few weeks ago a new treatment was able to be started. Early signs are that it is working.
Research is vital to finding new therapies that will give every multiple myeloma patient opportunities to survive and thrive. Multiple Myeloma - incurable yes - managed with treatment YES!
