As many of you may already know my Dad was recently diagnosed with Myeloma. This hasn’t been an easy situation for my family and especially for my Dad. We all thought it be a great idea to participate in this event to create awareness and potentially raise funds to help with the cause. Hoping we can entice a few friends and family to register in this short bike ride around Richmond and to donate if you’re able.
We will be tagging onto another team for now who I know personally. Unfortunately Andrea’s mom has been dealing with the same disease, but is eagerly planning on attending the event which will hopefully add some extra motivation for everyone! If anyone needs help registering, please reach out. It’s the short bike ride route (roughly 34km) from Homa Elementary to Iona Beach and back. Looking forward to seeing everyone there!
I’m raising money in support of Myeloma Canada by participating in the Myeloma Canada Ride.
By making a donation to me, you are supporting the pursuit of curing and preventing the disease, accelerating access to the best care, while empowering and improving the lives of all Canadians affected by myeloma.
