I’m raising money in support of Myeloma Canada by participating in the Multiple Myeloma March.
In August 2014 I was diagnosed with Multiple Myeloma, an incurable cancer of the blood plasma. In February 2015 after 20 rounds of chemotherapy, I had a stem cell transplant. Since then I have continued with other therapies and my blood levels are regularly monitored. I am currently participating in a clinical trial for a new drug that is showing great promise. Clinical trials are supported with funds raised in the march
By making a donation to me, you are helping to fund clinical research and to support advocacy for accelerated access to game-changing therapies for Canadian myeloma patients. 50% of funds raised will stay in Hamilton to fund research at McMaster University.
Please make a donation today and help me to reach my fundraising goal!
