In January, our mom was diagnosed with smoldering multiple myeloma (SMM), an early stage of the blood cancer multiple myeloma (MM). It’s been a major adjustment for our family, and we’ve been actively seeking ways to learn more and connect with others affected by this disease.

On October 5th, we’ll be taking part in the 5 km Multiple Myeloma March to help raise funds and support efforts to find a cure, improve access to care, and enhance the quality of life for those living with myeloma, like our mom.
