I’m raising money in support of Myeloma Canada by participating in the Multiple Myeloma March this year.

By making a donation to me, you are supporting the pursuit of curing and preventing the disease, accelerating access to the best care, while empowering and improving the lives of all Canadians affected by myeloma.

This year the Myeloma North Vancouver Island Support Group is marching in honour of Linda Latham. Linda lived for nearly 20 years with Myeloma and was a force in establishing our support group. She acted as our team leader until her passing in January of this year. She worked behind the scenes in supporting Myeloma Canada as a leader in research for a cure for Myeloma. Each time she was nearing the point where she had no more options for treatment her Myeloma Care Team were able to find a new drug regime for her to trial. This was because of the support from those who donated to Myeloma Canada so that ongoing research could continue. I am deeply proud to have known Linda. I remain in Complete Remission after 31/2 years because of the research that continues towards a cure for Myeloma and am deeply thankful to Linda and the many, many others who have lead the way.
