I'd like to thank everyone who walked and/or donated to the White Rock Myeloma walk!
We almost doubled our goal of $5,000, we raised a total of $9556. The Myeloma website does not show a generous $2500 donation that came in later.
Seeing so many people supporting me was amazing, when I have a tough day I'll look at our team photo for inspiration!
At the walk, Michelle gave a summary of where the Myeloma research is at. Not only are the new drugs significantly extending patients lives, but some of the drugs are heading towards a possible cure within the next 10 years!
