Hi Friends and Family,

On Sunday, September 21 at 11:00am in Newmarket, Steve's Squad will be walking to raise money in support of Myeloma Canada by participating in the Multiple Myeloma March.

As many of you know, I was diagnosed with multiple myeloma - an incurable blood cancer - in April 2022. Since then, I?ve been through radiation, stem cell transplants, and many different treatments before finally receiving CAR-T therapy in Buffalo in April 2024. Thanks to incredible doctors, nurses, and ongoing research, my cancer is now under control - giving me more precious time with Suzanne and our daughters.

Firefighters like me face higher cancer risks than the general public because of exposures to carcinogens on the job. Myeloma Canada funds vital research and advocacy so that patients like me and all walks of life - and their families - can have hope for more time and better treatments, and one day, a cure.
