REMISSION POSSIBLE
Although this is coming a bit late (the walk is tomorrow), Remission Possible is back! We are raising money in support of Myeloma Canada.. I am so thankful for the support everyone has shown in the past...and thank everyone for their continued support!
This year Pam Orchard and family has, once again, stepped up to the plate (thank goodness)!!!! Our group has had so many challenges that it has felt overwhelming to take on such a huge endeavour. Place is 8951 Hwy 638, Echo Bay...Valley Ice Cream....2PM , Sunday Sept. 14/25.
It seems surreal to me that I have had Multiple Myeloma for 19 years after being told I may live two! My family, my friends plus my beautiful funny granddaughters keep me going! AND, another grandbaby due in October!
I cannot walk this year due to a dreadful cold...it breaks my heart but no one wants to catch this especially Multiple Myeloma people who have no immune system.
So, go for a walk around a field of sunflowers and have an ice cream cone tomorrow if nothing else! Any amount of donation helps to fund clinical research and to support advocacy for accelerated access to game-changing therapies for Canadian Myeloma patients.
Hoping you will join team ?REMISSION POSSIBLE? (name courtesy of my loved niece Meaghan) this year!!!! AND...what a wonderful way to spend an afternoon. Last year we came home with a gorgeous bouquet of sunflowers, thanks to Pam and family!
