As some of you may know, Mom has recently been diagnosed with Multiple Myeloma. This is a type of blood cancer that develops in the bone marrow. She has had a few weeks of treatment so far and although it's not easy she has been rocking it! Unfortunately, there is no cure for this type of blood cancer (yet) but there have been many advances in treatment options over the last number of years which help ease symptoms and live longer with a better quality of life. 

My family is raising money in support of Myeloma Canada by participating in the Multiple Myeloma March.
