I’m raising money in support of Myeloma Canada by participating in the Multiple Myeloma March.
Here's my story. In March of 2019 I was diagnosed with High Risk Multiple Myeloma. What the heck is that!! An incurable but treatable plasma blood cell cancer. Needless to say those words" You've got cancer" changed my and my families lives. Since then, I have gone through 2 stem cell transplants, and am on my third line of treatment. Life has a new normal but thankfully with the support of my family and friends and continous advances in new treatments I am still here, taking it step by step, one day at a time.
By making a donation to me, you are supporting the pursuit of curing and preventing the disease, accelerating access to the best care, while empowering and improving the lives of all Canadians affected by myeloma.
Please make a donation today and help me to reach my fundraising goal!
Oh, by the way if you are wondering about my team name, here's the scoop. My type of Myeloma is considered IGG KAPPA, each treatment is kind of like Kryptonite knocking down those bad cancer cells, so each new "Kryptonite " keeps me here another day.
I'm at 0 km of 0 km.
