I’m raising money in support of Myeloma Canada by participating in the Multiple Myeloma March in Kitchener on Sunday, October 1 as a member of the Burra Squad, in support of my friend Janene!

In the last 3 years, Janene has had multiple rounds of treatment including a stem cell transplant making her a whole new person and initially putting her into a form of remission.  This last year has been difficult as she relapsed and needed to go on a new treatment plan.  We are very grateful that she was accepted into a clinical trial at Juravinski Hospital in Hamilton.  Since starting the treatment in February, her numbers have come down drastically and are now in a "normal" range.    By making a donation to me, you are helping to fund clinical research and to support advocacy for accelerated access to game-changing therapies for Canadian myeloma patients.
