I'll never forget the phone call from my Doctor on July 6, 2015, 2 days before my 65th Birthday - " Dave, I want you to check yourself into Emergency. They are expecting you". Three days later, after a bone marrow biopsy, the diagnosis was confirmed. The incurable plasma cell blood cancer, Multiple Myeloma.

When I was diagnosed, the average life expectancy was 6-8 years. July 2024 was the 9th "Anniversary " of my diagnosis. And no Best Before or Expiry date yet! 

I firmly believe recent developments in the treatment of this plasma cell cancer have contributed to my survival. Research seems to be the key. Your donation will further assist in eventually finding a cure for this cancer. I'm hoping to stay in touch for many years to come.
