Update, September 28: Today’s the actual 5-k walk in Summerside, so I decided to do 5 more on the bike at the Delta. Thanks again for your support, everyone! Some of you may not know it, but Nance was one of 3 right here in Keppoch living with MM! Maybe we can put together a team next year . . .  bring back “The Keppochians”!!

Update, September 12: Made it past my fundraising AND distance goals today for the 2024 Canadian National Multiple Myeloma March!! Thanks so much to all who supported me with your generous donations in honour of my very dear friend Nancy Prowse. The real-time PEI March is in Summerside on September 28, but I’ve been doing it virtually at the gym at the Delta Hotel.

Update: WOW!!! Thank you ALL for your super support: I may get up to $1500 by March Day! At 8.77 kms so far, I’m almost to my goal of biking 10 kms, but I’ll keep going ‘til the 28th: New distance goal 25 kms!! I’ll be participating in the 5-km Multiple Myeloma March in Summerside on September 28 in support of Myeloma Canada and to honour my bff Nancy Prowse, who battled MM for over 5 years, living her life to the fullest while often suffering mightily. Since I use a cane because of almost constant vertigo when I’m upright, I’ll be participating virtually by riding a recumbent bike at the Delta Fitness Club..
