The Warriors (for Jenn and in honour of Steve)

Our team is raising money in support of Myeloma Canada by participating in the Multiple Myeloma March.

On September 23, 2018, our friend, Steve Beattie, who was diagnosed with this rare form of cancer (in late June of 2017), organized the first March in Oshawa for Multiple Myeloma. Unfortunately, Steve loss his battle in April 2019 at the young age of 68.

A few days after his passing, our friend Jennifer, at the young age of 34, announced she had been diagnosed with the same rare cancer. It's especially rare in her case because it's typically seen in elderly men. But there have been more cases coming up in younger people which is very unfortunate because there currently is no cure. She has gone through weeks of chemotherapy treatment as well as a Stem Cell Transplant to prolong time.

Please consider making a donation to our team The Warriors. For Jenn and in honour of Steve.

By making a donation to our my team, you are helping to fund clinical research and to support advocacy for accelerated access to game-changing therapies for Canadian myeloma patients.

Help us to reach our fundraising goal! We would love to see a great turnout so please also consider joining our team for this walk!

Thank you!
