Our Team is raising money in support of Myeloma Canada by participating in the Multiple Myeloma March on Oct 17, 2021 at the Burnaby Lake Pavillion.     

Multiple myeloma is the 2nd most common form of blood cancer, and as of today, is incurable.  Every day, nine Canadians are diagnosed, yet in spite of its growing prevalence, the disease remains relatively unknown.

My mother, Sandra Bogdanich, was diagnosed with multiple myeloma in April of 2020.  After a courageous 15 month battle the disease took her life on July 18, 2021.  The oncologists said she had one of the most aggressive forms they had ever seen.  Throughout her treatment she never once complained about the hundreds of injections, pills, scans or visits to the cancer agency.  She was beyond inspiring to watch battle and thus we've decided to fight back against this horrible disease as well.
