As many of you already know, in May 2019 I received the shocking diagnosis of Multiple Myeloma, a blood cancer. I received chemotherapy at Southlake in Newmarket and I underwent a stem cell transplant at Princess Margaret Hospital in September 2019. I am doing well so far and while I'm not yet in a complete remission, my condition is becoming stable and I'm inching my way to a complete remission.
I’m raising money in support of Myeloma Canada by participating in the Multiple Myeloma March, this year virtually and locally in my own neighbourhood with my family and friends on Sunday September 26 (weather permitting).
Feel free to join us and let us know if you plan to attend on September 26 at 11am or if you'd like you can do your own walk as well.
By making a donation to me, you are helping to fund clinical research and to support advocacy for accelerated access to game-changing therapies for Canadian myeloma patients. Myeloma is currently incurable and we need to fight to find a cure or more therapies to prolong remissions!
Please make a donation today and help me to reach my fundraising goal!
It has been a tough year financially for some due to Covid, therefore please do not feel obligated to donate if you cannot at this time. I am happy for any support.
I'm at 0 km of 0 km.
