As you may know, in August 2019, after having really bad back pain for about 8 months, I was diagnosed with multiple myeloma. This was just a few weeks after my wedding. Talk about timing! In March 2020, I had a successful stem cell transplant. I'm happy to say that I'm now on maintenance drugs and doing very well. It's definitely been a crazy journey. I'm so grateful for all the amazing support that you, my friends and family, have given me! I couldn't do it without you.
Now, for the second year in a row, I’m raising money in support of Myeloma Canada by participating in the Multiple Myeloma March. If you donated and/or walked with us last year, THANK YOU!
By making a donation this year, you are helping to fund clinical research and to support advocacy for accelerated access to game-changing therapies for Canadian myeloma patients.
Please make a donation today (just push the 'Donate Now' button at the TOP RIGHT of this page) and help me to reach my fundraising goal!
If you can join us for the March, even better! It's October 23, 2022 at 11 am at Burnaby Lake Rowing Pavillion.
Let me know if you have any questions.
Thank you SO much for your support!
