Thank you for visiting my personal donation page.
I’m raising money in support of Myeloma Canada by participating in the Multiple Myeloma March. This year's March is being held on Sunday, September 12, 2021 at 10:00am in multiple community locations in Winnipeg. Carol's Crusaders is my team name and we will be meeting and walking from 911 Madeline Ave.
I was diagnosed in 2018 and have met others who are living with Myeloma. Sadly, not everyone I have met has survived. The journey with Myeloma can take many paths, but until a cure is found remains incurable. This will be my third walk and I am grateful to everyone has supported me in the past and continues to do so.
The importance of this annual fundraiser cannot be emphasized enough. Multiple Myeloma is an incurable bone marrow cancer that necessitates life-long treatment. The treatments continue to change and evolve as a person's Myeloma does. A cure has not yet been found and although the hope is that one day there will be a cure, offering new treatments to those living with Myeloma can only happen through research.
By making a donation to me, you are helping to fund clinical research and to support advocacy for accelerated access to game-changing therapies for Canadian myeloma patients.
If you are able, please make a donation today, (or join the team and walk with us), and help me to reach my fundraising goal! Please note that you can register to walk with us without donating - your participation and support are very much appreciated.
If you have any questions about how to donate or join our team please do not hesitate to reach out to my daughter Maria at 431-336-4730.
