I hope you have all had a lovely summer, and are looking forward to the vibrant colours of autumn.
I will be participating again this year in Myeloma Canada's fundraising walk on October 2nd to help raise funds for Myeloma research.
The last two years of my Myeloma journey have been quite challenging. I've been on 4 different treatment protocols, and have relapsed on each after 4-9 months.
I'll be meeting with Myeloma specialists at Princess Margaret Hospital at the end of September to discuss clinical trials, and I'm extremely excited about the advances in CAR-T (Chimeric Antigen Receptor) and Bispecific Antibody (BiTE) treatments which are showing great promise for Multiple Myeloma patients.
Your support means the world to me, and funds raised will help pave the way for new and (ideally) less harsh treatment options for Myeloma patients.
