In early 2022, our world was forever changed when my beloved wife, Christina Caplette, was diagnosed with multiple myeloma. Our journey began with some back pain and loss of energy which we simply thought was part of the natural aging process. At Christmas when we couldn't get together with family due to an emergency blood transfusion we knew we had to look deeper. At this point we knew that something else was wrong and started to push for answers. Little did we know that the battle ahead of her was one with cancer. Witnessing the physical and emotional toll it takes on her and our family has ignited a fire within us to take action. We refuse to accept the status quo and are committed to fighting for a future free from the burden of multiple myeloma, not just for us, but for all the families, care givers and people that are afflicted by this disease.

For my personal goals, I want to grow old with my wife and be able to have her there for our children's graduations, for their first jobs, for their first loves and to be able to help them along all the bumps in the road that they will face in life.
