We are raising money in support of Myeloma Canada by participating in the Multiple Myeloma March on September 10th. Our dear friend Margaret has recently been diagnosed with stage 2 multiple myeloma. Margaret loves all living things, and is particularly fond of backyard birds. Her love of these outdoor treasures has rubbed off on me, and I am learning so much about my new hobby through her. She recently shared a story with me of a magpie in her backyard adamantly demanding her attention to shoo away a cat wanting to keep safe the 100 other birds feeding there. A group of magpies is often called a mischief thus our team name, all gathered for Margaret♥
