I’m raising money in support of Myeloma Canada by participating in the Multiple Myeloma March.

As many of you know, Tom was diagnosed with Myeloma in April 2014, and went through nearly 7 years of treatment, remissions, and relapses before dying of the disease in Feb 2021. Since then I've become engaged with cancer advocacy and currently serve of the Board of Directors of Myeloma Canada (No, they didn't know what they were in for :-) )

By making a donation to me, you are supporting the pursuit of curing and preventing the disease, accelerating access to the best care, while empowering and improving the lives of all Canadians affected by myeloma.

Myeloma is complex and confusing. It's also expensive to treat and right now the treatment landscape is rapidly improving in ways that are also complex and confusing. We're not curing Myeloma yet but it feels like we're getting there. Myeloma Canada helps patients and families navigate the disease, and is a major advocate nationally and provincially in the health care system.
