Last year I joined my long time friend John Cardinal to help raise money in support of Myelona Canada and The Ottawa Hospital by participating in Steps to a Cure.

John's wife Kay was diagnosed with Myeloma in February 2020 and sadly succumbed to the disease this past January. 

Myeloma is the second most common type of blood cancer and currently has no cure. 

We were very successful as a team raising the largest amount of funds in Ottawa at $8342.

Our hope this year, through donations of any amount is to reach a goal of at least $5,000.
