Marching for our Matriarch
# of Donors
This fall, our community is taking part in the national 5km walk to raise funds for research and access to innovative medications that will increase life expectancy, and move the needle toward a cure for patients impacted by myeloma.
***As of Wednesday, September 8, 2021 ***
Please note: Unfortunately we cannot accept any more people joining us in-person. From now on, we can accept Zoom participants only.
Due to more interest than we anticipated, we have reached the limit of people currently allowed by the Ontario Re-Opening Act. We apologize that we cannot accommodate more people in-person this year.
Additional Zoom participants are most certainly welcome! Zoom participants are very much a part of this exciting and meaningful event! You will be energized by our passionate emcee! You will see and hear the announcements, speeches, award ceremonies, and rousing music before and after the walk! You can take part in the warm-up exercises, and even walk near your home, if you wish. You will see and can speak with other Marchers. The emcee may reach out to you for greetings and well wishes.
For those registering from now on, please do not come to Confederation Beach Park for this event.
An option is joining other Multiple Myeloma Marches nearby. These include Mississauga on September 19, and Kitchener-Waterloo on October 3.
We hope to see you in-person next year!
