Let’s bike to beat myeloma!
If you're wondering whether the Myeloma Canada Ride is right for you, here’s what you need to know:
The Ride is a fun, non-competitive event for cyclists aged 18 and older. It’s an opportunity to make memories while riding a scenic route and raising funds for a great cause. A $50 registration fee applies for participants of the live event. This fee helps cover essential costs like permits, insurance, and meals.
To ensure both safety and enjoyment, we recommend that participants have a basic fitness level that allows for comfortable cycling between 20 and 70 km. The Ride offers two route options: a shorter, more leisurely route (20–40 km), and a longer, more challenging route (40–80 km) so it is important that you are comfortable cycling either of these distances. If either distance feels too difficult, please join the Virtual Ride instead.
To help you decide which route option is right for you, please check out the route maps on your community ride page. Remember, this is not a race, so we encourage you to ride at your own pace and make use of the rest stops along the way!
