Our team name is "Common Sense." When I ask my cancer doctor if I should do something, that's his answer. "Should I go to Jamaica?" "Just use your common sense." "Should I participate in this bike event?" "Just use your common sense."
Some bold assumptions there about my common sense.
Anyhow, you probably know that I used to bike a ton! After babies, less so. After myeloma, not more than 10-15km at a go. So don't laugh, but this 34.5km will be a real stretch for me!
If you're able to ride with us or volunteer, awesome. (You can join the girls!) If you want to donate, amazing. I'm in awe of the treatments we have now, compared to 20 years ago when people passed away from this within months. Now we just need a CURE! But no pressure haha.
But really just cheer me on! ❤ #commonsense
